I work in surgery in Texas. My Boss has always said there is no light duty in surgery. Then one of the women at work got pregnant. Well her doctor didn’t want her to take call anymore or stand that long. So they put her to work in the surgery billing office. Well I just broke my ankle im in no pain I have a removable boot cast and my doctor said i can do lite duty office work. Now i know my boss will say no light duty. Is this fair, Can this be correct? Light duty for some but not for others. Should I talk to HR about this? I feel discriminated against.

My girlfriend just left for boot camp a few days ago and I am worried about her of course. I heard bad things from some people I know who used to be in the Navy or another branch. Stuff like there is less than 10 women on the ship to like 300 men and those women basically became the guys bitches. I’m wondering how it is for women when it comes to how they are treated by the guys there. If there is abuse going on and if so does the woman have hope to get them reported or if the guys will team up and go against her saying bad stuff to discredit her.
How is it between women and men in boot camp and how is it between them once she is in school or after that when she is working on whatever job?
Tiny bit of info about her, she has a problem with wanting to please people a bit too much, kind of needy, she also likes the attention, which she ignored when she was with me, but since we are separated I can only imagine the pressure and comfort seeking she is under. She also seems to attract bad men, and basically was treated badly till she met me. Said I was the first good man she met.

I think they should. Think of it this way. Many men serve their country in times of war by risking the one thing that is most important to them: their life. Most of it is within a 2 year contract.
So if men are providing this service to the country what are women doing? For the sake of equality why can’t women be encouraged to provide their most valuable asset in times of peace: Their vagina. Don’t tell me a female joining the service is the same, few do, and for that matter that’s not what men want to see women putting up as collateral for living in this country. It seems that females require the reach of the law in order to make the price of their vagina’s more obtainable.
I think that all females in this country should be required to work as prostitutes during their most fertile years 18 through 30 within a 2 year contract. These are the years that men most value, and these are the years that attractive women currently deny to the average man when given equality. Additionally older women would be under less pressure to compete for jobs with younger women as the younger females would be in “boot camp.” If a girl refuses to serve her country, simple, brand her forehead with a hot iron "P" for prude and deny her social security.
This would be like the male equivalent of the army. The only girls that can get out of it would be rich girls. While “serving” girls would learn some humility about where the value of the country comes from: hard-working males who thrive on providing for pretty young women. It would add value back to the dollar, keep random teens from going spree-happy and allow females the ability to feel proud that they have earned a place in our society rather than existing as perfumed leeches.
So far women appear to be very ungrateful for the advantages males have provided them in this country. They do everything to avoid putting up sex in return for their position and are encouraged by this instinctual feminine urge to avoid impregnation by the “wrong” males to become parasitical backstabbers. These effects only occur with the stupidity of giving women too much sexual freedom. Other freedoms are fine (you can go to the store), but with sexual freedom women do the following:
- They use our freebies to shop for "hot guys" until they wrinkle up in a sea of booze at age 30. (a self-inflicted travesty. You can’t neglect other men and expect sympathy after you’ve pruned)
- They undermine the value of the currency by forcing men to work 10x harder for the same sexual goods our dads got for a bag of quarters.
- They have babies with pretty boys and foist these hellspawn onto a resentful male underclass (i.e. 80% of men).
- They use all of their advantages to separate, divide and smear the men of this country into sexual haves and have-nots (a primitive paradigm of success giving rise to angst-ridden, female hating, mass murderers)
- They give guys blessed with random good looks thrones of flesh and the rest, no matter how much they provide, are saddled with ugly fat leftovers and the resulting fat and stupid children. (polarizing dysgenics)
I ask you, where is the incentive to work if normal women are overpriced and out of stock?
The reward system right now is out of wack. It leaves sexual success to the whims of beautiful girls – the very prize itself – who choose to reward males who haven’t necessarily provided a metric of work valuable to anyone but the lone female. By giving women complete choice of their sexual partners the society passes up vast amounts of production. Just look around. Women are providing free sex to males who pass ideal media standards, however, this means rewarding them in lieu of males who provide society with the yoke of unglamorous drudgery. The average man can sense the vast sexual rewards women tilt completely in the direction towards the athlete badboy. He’d be silly to attempt to gain an attractive woman by becoming, say, a bio-tech scientist, when women are piling on badboys who go to the gym 3 hours a day with respect, love, threesomes, free children… and sticking the scientist/dreamer with the tab in the end.
So a guy who would once decide to spend his life studying bio-tech in order to sell life-saving drugs and gain a hot blonde, now due to the new sexual reward system, is encouraged to spend his years becoming a mediocre cross country runner to impress a girl with his body. If the man is encouraged to give up time-consuming theoretical work for time-consuming athleticism who will work on the bio-tech? The hot blonde?
Something needs to be done. To women.

I don't like my step-mom?
All the woman do is nag. She orders my brothers and I to do this and that all the time. She only does it when my Father be at work. I don’t mind doing housechores, but her lazy behind can do some work, too. She’s a heavyset woman, so she uses her weight as an excuse not to do anything. Yet, she eats like a hog. Sometimes, it don’t be any food left. Another thing I don’t like she’s nicer to her irresponsible daughter. she let her daughter, her boyfriend, and their 3 kids come live with us until they find a place to stay. Without asking my Father. Her boyfriend stayed in the streets all day without looking for a job, and my step sister always have me or my step mom to watch the kids while she be in the steet. My step mom be complaining that her back hurt, and she gonna tell her daughter to leave. Then when my step sister comes back(late) my step mom don’t mention her getting the boot. How can I let my step mom know what kind of person she is without making her upset?
